A key output is the generation of high-quality, cost effective Marketing Qualified Leads for channel partners. The marketing operations function plays a critical role in supporting efficient marketing execution, together with a framework for the effective measurement, learning and performance insight of the end-to-end marketing and sales pipeline. This person reports to the India Field Marketing Manager and will work closely with them in the planning, execution and measurement of regional marketing initiatives. The INDIA Marketing Operations Manager will also work with the APAC Marketing Operations Specialist, APAC Market Intelligence Manager and Marketing Operations peers in other regions to build and grow a consistent practice across APAC. Role This is a hands-on role that has regional ownership of marketing operations functions, together with tactical reporting and analysis support to the INDIA marketing team. It is envisaged that the role split will be approximately 80% operations and 20% analysis and reporting. While the role has an analysis and reporting component, the focus of these deliverables will be the provision of information to support tactical execution, effective measurement and learnings for ongoing performance improvement. This role should preferably extend to market (economic/industry) and competitor intelligence - in-depth modeling and analytics would be preferred though it is primarily the responsibility of the APAC Marketing Intelligence Practice. Scope of Role The Field Marketing Operations Manager provides support to the regional marketing team and will cover the functions of: prospect & customer segmentation, campaign plan definition, data analysis & list management, campaign execution, response management, campaign reporting and analysis. As the INDIA marketing operations owner this role will be responsible for: • Management of INDIA’s marketing database (Aprimo), campaign execution and marketing MIS capabilities in line with regional requirements and corporate frameworks. • Supporting the prospect and customer segmentation, campaign analytics information needs of the marketing / campaign planning processes and requirements of industry marketing managers. • Supporting effective campaign planning and structured definition of regional marketing activity. • Execution of campaign communications, response and lead management processes in accordance with campaign briefs and ADSK standard process. • Effective measurement and reporting of all regional marketing efforts, from activity execution to lead and sales closure. • Management of vendors involved in marketing operations delivery. Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Delivery of campaign planning data in accordance with annual and quarterly planning cycles • Maintenance of INDIA customer and prospect profiles and segmentations, including enrichment as required • Provision of analysis and reporting to support insight, effective planning and decision making by the INDIA marketing team • Maintenance of standardized response management, contact history and interaction sequences • Maintenance of the INDIA campaign hierarchy templates and standards to support campaign planning and definition • Maintenance of consistent and standardized SharePoint & Aprimo campaign definitions • Management of the operations for the Marketing Development Fund (MDF) process. • Definition of customer / prospect segmentations and delivery of lists for campaign communications • Delivery and execution of campaign interaction sequences in Aprimo as defined in campaign brief • Working with agencies to ensure proper information interchange processes are established and maintained (site catalyst, web agencies, event agencies, TM agencies, etc.) • Ensure responses and leads are managed in accordance with standard policies and individual campaign briefs, including the valid flow of qualified leads into SFDC Lead management where applicable • Manage the interfaces and workflow between Aprimo and SFDC jointly with Sales Operations • Collaborating with the APAC Marketing Operations Specialist & peer group to aid knowledge sharing and ongoing improvement of marketing operations capabilities • Collaborating with the APAC / WW Market Intelligence organization to leverage datasets and capabilities, and help define the specifications of the MI assets Profile: The candidate will meet the following profile: • He/she will have experience in operational and analysis roles, including the management and use of marketing / CRM databases, campaign management and marketing information systems. • Is result oriented with a solid blend of technical skills and commercial marketing acumen. • He/she will have a solid understanding of the various areas of marketing and will able to understand quickly the complexities of the company’s products and distribution channels. • Has experience in a results driven direct marketing environment, ideally in a B2B software or hardware industry. • He/She should be proficient in use of SQL for querying and updating the data, with a good appreciation for data management issues in a marketing environment. • He/She will have advanced excel skills with experience in using common business intelligence reporting tools (Business Objects / Qlikview / Cognos etc). • He/She will have strong analysis skills combined with the ability to present information in a commercial context. • He/she will have good communication skills to be able to work with the regional team and APAC team over phone/email. • Good spoken and written English language skills. • Has experience managing external supplier relationships involved in operational delivery and data supply. • He/she should be motivated to drive continuous improvements and enhancements to the process. • He / She should be self motivated and productive in a highly autonomous role • He/she should be able to work on flexible hours (may take late night or early morning calls), adjust working with stakeholders in different time zones and travel from time to time. | | Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications
