Job Description - Should have thorough knowledge in Product design, Re-Engineering, Concept evaluation, Configuration and detailing.
- Must have hands on experience in devising Product Development process which include Testing and Analysis for finding suitability of Materials, Components and Sub-Units.
- Conceptualise new ideas based on seeing new products and initiate development work as and when required
- Knowledge in ProE/ Autocad is preferred.
- Good experience in Proto type development, Evaluation & Product costing.
- Experience in developing and handling the Prospective vendors required for product development with the objective of Value engineering and cost Optimization is preferable.
- Knowledge about the Tool & manufacturing Process Development.
- Should have good ability in Project Management. Planning and scheduling skills for optimization of Product development and Manufacturing Time and Cost.
- Self drive and determination to meet the day to day Objectives and continuous improvement.
- Should be a good leader, Communicator and Coordinator. Should able to lead the team of Design Engineers and Coordinate with all departments to meet the Objectives and targets.
- Conversant with IEC, UL and CSA specifications and Electrical Testing Laboratory is preferable.
