Head Commercial is responsible for establishing and maintaining an international vendor base of approx 30 vendors, procuring approx 500 million -1000 million USD of yarn( DTYR etc) and chemicals, maintaining profitable relationships with vendors on behalf of the compay by taking personal and complete responsibility for each vendor and by ensuring that all procurement needs are met in a timely and cost optimized manner.
As Head Commercial you serve as the key raw material supplier from international sources. (How do you communicate that role to the internal and external customer).(Role in coordination between whom)
As the Head Commercial ypu serve as the primary internal and external representative of our organization.You must convey to the vendor a sense of expertise in our needs, services and capabilities and you serve as an external educator to our existing vendors to our expanding needs. The head commercial is also responsible for communicating the deliveries and commercial terms to each location head as well as the corporate head office in Switzerland.
You are a member of the Supply Chain Team and the responsibility is to meet needs across the world in line with company policies and procedures.The companies business targets of 1. 5 billion USD turnover for 2015 can only be met by your ability to meet the demands placed by the marketing team in a price effective manner tha! t ensures a respectable surplus over costs. 1. Meet procurement needs for yarn (DTYR etc) and chemicals in a globally competitive scenario.
2. Analyse international trends and opportunities and apply appropriate innovative strategies to take advantage.
3. Consider Hedging against related products to cushion global volatility in commodity prices
4. Monitor Hanoi based staff
5. Participate in senior management deliberations and value to decision making.

Qualifications:
• BE.
• Experience in purchase of yarn and chemicals at a global level..
• Excellent command of the English language in both written and oral forms.
• Good math skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills..
• Strong attention to details, possessing a questioning aptitude and interested in preventing errors and solving problems.
• Must be computer literate and current on new technology.ie Microsoft Projects and Gantt Charts.
• Must be hardworking, a self-starter and a problem solver.Willing to travel 200 days annually.
• Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills. Able to perform multiple tasks effi ciently.
• Exceptional negotiating skills.
