Purpose of the Role

The role also includes integration, developing unit tests, assisting in the development of the OMCR architecture & mentoring other team members.
Line Management
The role will report to the ‘Product Development Manager – Management Systems’ based in the UK.
Responsibilities
-Design, develop and maintain application software and unit tests for Java/Linux based Network Management System
-Produce and review technical specifications and design documentation
-Pe! rform developer and component level integration testing

-Address issues assigned as part of support & maintenance. Provide support to other functional areas as part of the maintenance and testing phases

-Responsible for the full life cycle of various Linux based Server and Client components, simulator tools & test automation framework.
-Responsible for the Design, Development and Maintenance of application software and unit tests for the management system.
-Translate product requirements into reliable work estimates by producing work breakdown structures & provide a robust plan to deliver against targets
-Responsible for timely delivery of work assigned to the team. Contribute to project planning and work breakdown structures
-Produce and review technical specifications and design documentation. Contribute to architecture development activities
-Recognize overall business/project objectives & make technical decisions in consultation with the ! Architecture group as required to align development activity with these objectives
-Responsible for highlighting risks, issues & coming up with out-of-the-box solutions to mitigate them & deliver as per plans.
-Responsible for ensuring that all new work carried out complies with the agreed quality requirements
