The job of a Patent Analyst / Associate involves the following: - The candidate will be responsible for managing the research and delivery of critical information and knowledge affecting research, development and business performance.
- Conduct comprehensive searches of technical and patent information using online database and other information resources.
- Provide insightful evaluation and analysis of results.
- Deliver timely, value-added patent search reports.
- Analyze and summarize search results using scientific knowledge and specialized tools.
- Identification of inventions through extensive product and technology research and analysis
- Mapping of inventions to existing products and technologies to determine similarities and differences
| | Desired Candidate Profile Selected candidates will have to undergo a 8-week (start date - 18th April 2011) exhaustive TRAINING PROGRAM (Self financed) in Patent Protection, Enforcement and Management at Global Institute of Intellectual Property, Delhi before getting placement at a leading MNC, Corporate, KPO or Law Firm. The candidate should have good knowledge of his respective domain and should be willing to work in the field of Intellectual Property (IP)
Candidates with the following minimum qualification will be given preference:
- Graduates (with science, engineering and other technical degrees) with a 1 -5 years work experience.
- Post Graduates (with science, engineering and other technical degrees)
- Legal Professionals (LL.B & LLM.) with technical qualifications.
- Candidate must be sufficiently proficient in English.
- Strong evaluation, formatting and organization skills.
- Excellent computer and writing skills.
