We have openings for both of the following:
1. WebSphere Application Server Administrator:
Total Exp: 5 years
Relevent Exp: 4 years
We are looking for candidates having experience in:
- Installing the WebSphere software on AIX
- Creating Cells/Nodes/Application Servers, Federating nodes and creating/configuring application server clusters
- Configuring Enterprise Applications and MQ/DB2 resources
- Configuring WebSphere Security using LDAP and DB2
- Automating Enterprise application installations and resource configurations using jacl/python scripting
- Understanding classloaders in WebSphere
- Understanding webserver plugin configurations
- Understanding J2EE platform.
- Basic Shell scriptting (maintenance for the Framework scripts and reports compoent scripts).
- Basic LDAP knowledge.
- Basic Java skills.
- Basic understanding of MQ/DB2.
- Unix Scripting
- Troubleshooting
- Unix/AIX/Linux background
2. Websphere MQ with Message Broker Administration
Total Exp: 5 years
Minimum 2 years of administration experience on one or more of the following products:
- MQSI V2.1 / WBIMB(V5 or 6) / WebSphere Message Broker(V6) -Should have excellent product knowledge on the architecture and different components of the product.
- Should be able to administer various components of Message Broker that includes Broker Domain,Configuration Manager, Broker, Execution Group , Tool Kit etc.
- Should be experienced in creating ACL entries for restricting access to the Configuration Manager.
- Should have familiarity with creating ODBC entries in both Windows /UNIX for databases(DB2 or any equivalent database) that will be used by Broker.
- Should be able to deploy BAR files through toolkit and from command prompt
- Should be familiar with the usage of toolkit for Administration Perspective.
- Should know how to work with traces
- How to start, stop and format them as needed.
- Hands on experience with software installation and configuration on Unix (preferably AIX)
- Able to take backup of components like configuration manager and broker.
- Experience with product migration is an added advantage.
Minimum 2 years of working experience on WebSphereMQ Administration (V5.3 & above) on distributed platforms (WINDOWS & one or more flavours of UNIX)
- Should possess good working knowledge and understanding of Unix, Linux and Windows Operating Systems
- Experience with in product & Fixpack installations and version upgrades of WebSphere MQ
- Should be able to administer the product using the GUI (WebSphere MQ Explorer) as well as from the command line
- Proficient in problem determination, troubleshooting, backup & recovery
- Should be strong in using MQSC commands. Familiarity with PCF commands is an added advantage
- Should be strong in Distributed Queue Management
- Should be strong in MQ channel configuration using different transmission protocols
- Should have experience with MQ Clusters
- Should be able to manage, configure and monitor MQ Listeners, Command Servers, Channel initiators, Trigger Monitors, MQ Log files & Dead Letter Queues
- Should have familiarity with MQ Client applications & MQ client configuration
- Able to setup security for WebSphere MQ queues & other objects for data access and for administration using role-based security
- SSL Configuration on WebSphere MQ is an added advantage
- Experience in using MQ monitoring tools like Omegamon, QPasa etc are added advantage
- Familiarity with the configuration of ini files and MQ registry entries
- Familiarity/exposure on MQ Tracing Excellent command over written and spoken English Willingness/flexibility to work in different shift timing to support customers at different parts of the world
Additional:
- Experience with/exposure to any of the adapters
- Exposure to Mainframes ZOS/OS 390 or AS400 Systems is an added advantage
- Experience with/Exposure to one or more of the below listed products
