1. Designing, writing and testing new software programs

2. Developing existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for modification

3. Maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects

4. Writing User and technical documentation

5. Working closely with other teams, such as QA, systems analysts, deployment/IT and onsite/client professionals for knowledge transfer or requirement clarifications etc.

6. Consulting clients/colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems and asking questions to obtain information, clarify details and implement information

7. Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications

8. Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project

9. Taking administrative responsibilities apart from day to day work like assistance in recruitment and training

Job Description

3. Primary Technical / Functional Skill

1. Strong Experience in Java, J2ee, EJB, ESB, XML, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services.

4. Strong experience & Exposure to Open Source technologies (Ant, Junit, Log4j, Hibernate)

5. Experience with J2EE Application Server (preferably Web logic)

6. Experience working in both Unix and Windows environments

7. Good working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL

8. Should have financial domain experience / knowledge and scrum/agile experience/knowledge

9. Strong experience with enterprise applications specially on Financial Domain Projects
