Desired Candidate Profile
• 3 years or more of Application Development experience developing/debugging/maintaining C++ applications in a Linux/UNIX environment.• Extensive TCP/IP Client/Server Application Software development using Sockets API in Linux / UNIX platforms.
• Solid Network Programming and protocol implementation experience required.
• Extensive Experience in handling SOAP, XML, XSLT and Web Services.
• Strong TCP/IP programming skills and strong knowledge of Networks;
• Strong experience in Unix IPC’s , shared memory, message queue’s and semaphores

Job Description
• Participate in the engineering effort of major SBG projects and contribute to the development of new technologies. Write code to support the delivery of new features and functionality as well as improve existing features and functionality.• Engineer new code, and work with/enhance an existing code base under guidance and mentorship of Principal Engineers
• Actively contribute to the ongoing software design and agile development process of the group.
• Develop understanding of technical innovations both within and outside of the industry. Make timely recommendations on their applicability to projects.
• Work with engineers in other departments to create system-wide solutions.
• C++ development with TCP/IP and Sockets
• Network application / tool development.
