Job Description

Role Objective:

Design, development, prototyping and testing of power electronic products and systems

Principal Accountability:

• Drive new Innovation

• System Architecture and System Engineering

• Design, development, prototyping and testing of power electronic products and systems like SMPS, AC-DC Converters, AC-AC Converters and AC-DC Inverters for ratings from few Watts to 500 kW

• Create eco-partnership for R&D.

• Understand the existing product technology and bring up enhancements and upgrading them to new international standards

• Coordinate with concerned teams like HW, Engineering, Service and product teams on meeting time to market targets

• Manage and guide the team to align to group, department and organization short term and long term goals

• Effective management of configuration management process

Essential Requirements for Fitment:

• Experience in design and development of high end / efficient power electronic converters and inverters meeting required EMI and EMC standards

• Exposure to modeling and simulation of PE circuits and systems

• Hands on experience on implementation of PE systems using microcontrollers and DSPs
