| | Industry Type : | IT-Software/ Software Services | | Functional Area : | Network Administration, Security | | Posted Date : | 16 Mar | |  | | Job Description · Responsible for Service Operations for all India Sites - provide basic support to users, track service request fulfillment, training and education activities for end-users on IT best practices, receipt of services from vendors and suppliers, server room administration, process and procedure documentation, invoice verification, run and maintain IT activities.
· Responsible for Asset Management and control IT asset at the all sites to ensure the physical assets and records are updated, and manage IT assets according to DuPont's guidelines.
· For incident and problem management, act as the local focal point for all Infrastructure issues and work with the respective Country IT teams as well as the respective vendors and suppliers for escalation and resolution. Follow-up on Root cause analysis where needed.
· Project management and implement new solution and services of small scale projects for India Sites.
Manage contractors, vendors, suppliers and other third parties in the delivery of Infrastructure services for all India Sites according to Du Pont's standards and policies.
· Coordinate, lead and manage implementation Develop, document, update service delivery processes relevant to the operations and ensure all stakeholders are trained to use it effectively.
· Test, evaluate and mainstream new services or product offering under this domain that is relevant for the business growth
· Update and maintain a central repository/website for the tower standards, policies and procedures. Provide periodic communications to Dupont IT and end users to improve awareness and education to comply with relevant policies, procedures.
· Plan, design and conduct education program for end user e.g. email. Responsible for activities such as training needs analysis, course development and rollout planning with the guidance from tower.
· Liaise with different vendors of all sites and other resources for escalated problem resolution and process updates under this Tower.
· Develop a good foundation of how to use the capability within the domain knowledge to meet business needs.
· Person would having responsibility as support information's, operations and processes and other compliance/audit activities
· Is responsible for ensuring the security of IT assets and other Site information assets. Has the authority to Initiate & enforce Network / Server room security compliance
· Enabler of IT Documentation materials, leads meetings, influences management, is proactive.
· Develops, sets up and runs regular local site assessments, using either local resources &/or business-wide resources. Ensures abnormalities are addressed and remediated.
· Primary contact for the Internal Auditing Team.
· Ensure implementation of Du Pont security guidelines, SOX compliance as well as other Du Pont mandated and regulatory requirements.
· Ensure 6-Sigma standards and practices are followed and also adopt industry best practices for project management as well as service support and delivery.
· Work with other team to enhance collaboration and synergy across the diff competencies.
· Actively seek to update technical knowledge in this field from industry sources , relevant vendors and other APIS regional/global networks e.g. Architecture.
· Participate in Country forum and collaborative workgroup to work on best practice or new product introduction
· Work with the India team and vendor to ensure all aspect of service operations are running smoothly for end to end service delivery (e,g, Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Release Management, Security management, Asset Management) * For instance, Review, verify and audit SLA mthly metric reporting from CSC, and identify areas for process improvement.
* Provide periodic summary mthly report to CISL to understand the status of the operations and what actions (if any) are needed within DuPont
* Coordinate with vendor and other parties on the rollout of operational processes to support proper inventory control for both HW and SW to meet DuPont and all Sites regulatory standards. Ensure all entries in inventories are accurate and find opportunities to optimize the environment, and meet the requirement for audit reviews
* Coordinate with CSC & DuPont IT team on all efforts to reduce any duplicated or obsolete assets or accounts to reduce any waste.
* Implement metrics and process to maintain the SW licenses against usage in our environment to ensure efficient utilization of licenses and reduce any surpluses across the region. | | Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications
Education Qualification & Years of Experience required :
Engineer with overall experience around 10 -12 years,
Minimum Skills Required:
Understanding of the basics of networking, WAN technologies including Internet routing, TCP/IP , MPLS and Voice Service e.g VOIP / IP Telephony etc.
Understanding of Networks including SNMP management tools and packet tracing / capturing technology .
Understanding how network analysis tools should be applied to solve network performance problems and should have Network capacity planning skills.
