Desired Candidate Profile
Day to day activities include:
• This resource will be working from Invesco – Hyderabad office and will participate in phone meetings (status calls, design sessions) with development teams, located in Houston, TX and London.
• Analysis of specifications provided by Houston team and conducting development and testing based on those specifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:-
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably MCA or BE / B Tech in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent)
• 4-5 years of ETL development experience using Informatica ETL PowerCenter version 8 or higher in Windows environment.
• 4-5 years of development and optimization of Informatica ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and Sybase.
• Must have strong experience working with relational databases and understanding the database design and structure.
• Hands on experience writing advanced stored procedures and scripts using T-SQL under MS SQL Server 2005/2008 and Sybase.
• Experience developing mappings using Informatica designer with mixed source/target environments
• Experience developing various Informatica workflow manager tasks and objects including sessions, workflows, worklets, commands, etc.
• Experience working with flat file and xml file sources and/or targets.
• Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter ETL best practices and guidelines
• Experience with Visual SourceSafe is a plus
• Experience with AutoSys scheduling system is a plus
• Development experience with .NET is not required, but would be beneficial
• Strong business sense and ability to work well under tight deadlines and with other team members.
• Good communication skills both oral and written, self Starter and able to follow guidelines and adhere to standards.
• Experience in Finance and/or Investments modules is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills necessary to effectively interact and communicate with other project team members and managers.
• Strong analytical skills in data processing area and ability to follow specifications and instructions.

--- The purpose of this position is to assist with development and support for internally built Investments Trade Router (ITR) framework. Specifically, this candidate will assist with the analysis and development of the required Informatica mappings and T-SQL stored procedures under SQL Server 2005/2008 and Sybase to move the data from/to trading and portfolio accounting systems
